Based on the 2025 graduate cohort's transcripts, so each sub-pathway (e.g., Performing Arts (Dance) vs Performing Arts (Theatre) vs Professional Music) appears as its own bar. Composite score (0–100) = 40% normalized completers + 25% completion rate + 20% concentrator retention + 15% inverse D/F rate, with +5% multipliers if the pathway contains an AP CTE course or an MVC dual-enrollment CTE course. Pathway Completion: The Pipeline Leak
The biggest obstacle to CTE pathway completion is the pipeline leak from concentrator to capstone. This section identifies how many students get stuck and examines gap year scheduling as a primary driver.
Capstone Scheduling Conflicts: Singletons & Doubletons
Many capstone courses are offered in only 1 period (singletons) or 2 periods (doubletons). When other singletons/doubletons occupy those same periods, students face impossible scheduling conflicts. This analysis identifies which capstones are most constrained.

Understanding the Gap Year Effect
When students skip a year between concentrator and capstone courses, completion rates drop dramatically. Below: which grades are skipped, which pathways are most affected, and what happens after a gap.
